About The Salty Dogwood

We are a retail flower shop offering local delivery. We specialize in everyday arrangements and hand tie bouquets, weddings, funerals, plants, and gifts.

The Salty Dogwood is a florist in Swampscott, Massachusetts. It is listed at 224 Humphrey St, Swampscott, MA 01907, which places it among the local businesses of Swampscott that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 am–4 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach The Salty Dogwood at (781) 503-0004; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Britt and the Salty Dogwood were amazing. The flowers they provided for my son's wedding were incredible! When we had to pivot and redesign the Chuppah to accommodate a set of stairs (don't ask, nightmare planning) Britt confidently and competently solved the problem and saved my day! Thank you Britt. My professional photos aren't back yet, but here are a couple of examples:

I’ve walked past The Salty Dogwood countless times, and I finally decided to drop in today to pick up something special for my wife. I’m only sorry I didn't do it sooner! This shop is an absolute gem and officially my new local go-to. The owner, Britt, is incredibly personable and clearly knows her craft. I was thrilled to find they carry all of my wife’s favorites, including calla lilies, hydrangeas, and a massive variety of tulips. I even walked away having learned the distinction between single and double tulips! Whether you need a single stem or a custom bunch, the selection is fantastic. It’s exactly the kind of small business that makes our neighborhood better. Definitely stop in to support them! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Britt of The Salty Dogwood in Swampscott, MA, is an absolute creative genius and a true dream to work with. From our very first conversation, Britt was so genuine, kind, and easy to connect with. Planning a Boston wedding from the West Coast could have felt overwhelming, but every email and phone call with her brought an immediate sense of calm. She has a rare gift for understanding your vision, even when you can’t fully put it into words, and turning it into something more beautiful than you ever imagined. I had this dream of blending florals, fruits, and lots of candles to create a warm, romantic β€œwinter feast” atmosphere, and Britt brought it to life in the most stunning way. On the wedding day, she exceeded every expectation, filling the space with breathtaking florals, fruit-forward centerpieces, and moody candlelight, creating a setting that felt elegant, cozy, and magical all at once. Working with Britt felt so personal and collaborative. She truly cared about my vision, and it showed in every thoughtful detail. Her professionalism, creativity, and calming presence made the entire process stress-free and genuinely enjoyable. I am forever grateful to have worked with someo

The Salty Dogwood designed bouquets for my wedding and they were absolutely stunning! I sent Britt photo inspirations for what I had in mind and she skillfully designed beautiful pieces that were unique and fresh. She was super insightful to which flowers would go best given the season and color scheme. Britt is so talented and dedicated. Highly recommend!!
